Calm, peaceful & efficient

Given that I only stayed in the Westminster-Warwick for one night, I can only base my commentary on that. However, my stay at the hotel was comfortable and very calm, some things that are important when your reason for travel is business. The hotel lobby was a welcome retreat from the bustling city streets just outside the door.

I stayed at the Westminster in January of 2004, and am staying there again starting May 14th. The location is the best in Paris, The rooms are nicely appointed, and the restaurant is Superb! But the Bar was my favourite, the Bartender was a riot and went out of his way to make sure we had a good time. I travel all over the world on business, about a 100K miles a year, and NO hotel do I look forward to more than the Westminster, I am counting the day until my return 3 weeks from today!

The hotel Westminister was the place I chose to take my husband for a romantic weekend to celebrate his 40th birthday. We had a wonderful time and came home with a permanent reminder...our lovely baby boy! Must be something in the water at the Westminister as we had been trying for a baby for 5 years with no luck! We will return again one day with Benjamin-Louis, our son.

Paris is fully booked - plan ahead Paris is generally fully booked, particularly its better restaurants. Do your research and ask your concierge to book tables well in advance.
metro try to figure out how the paris metro system works asap. can get to most touristy places very quickly if know which metro to take. negetive thing about the metro stations is that they smell like urinals.
Brasserie Madeleines Brasserie is well worth going to. Lovely food. Also the Maison Rose down the hill at the back of the Sacre Coeur for good French food from a cheerful team
