Very cheap and clean!

I've stayed at a few hotels in Paris from the upscale to the small bed and breakfast and the Libertel was small but clean and the staff was very nice. The beds were very small but I've learned that traveling in Europe, everything is smaller. Didn't do the breakfast buffet only because there are so many great cafes in Paris to have breakfast at. People said that the neighborhood at night wasn't all that safe but I didn't have any problems taking the metro or cabs during the wee hours of the morning.

Cheap but convenient

This hotel is in a very scary area at night, but otherwise was clean and very convenient for the stations. During the day I felt safe walking around. Did not try the breakfast buffet though. The staff was very friendly. Overall I would recommend it if you are on a budget and have a big man to walk you back at night or are willing to take a taxi :-)
