Adorable boutique hotel in Paris
from petite-beateau
What a wonderful experience! We booked it thru the hotel web-site. It was easy and took me less than 5 minutes to book our hotel room.
Upron arrival, we were greeted by the friendly receptionist whom is fluent in English and gave us good recommendations to restaurants and museums. The room is clean, comfortable and bright. At one point we had to use the computer in the lobby to check our e-mail. We did have some problem in getting on the internet; however, the receptionist let us to use his own to check our e-mails. How considerations he was.
The location is abosolutely convenience to everything. 5 minutes leisure walk to the the Printemp and Gallerie Lafeyette department stores and Opera.
We had a great time and definitely will go back next time.

Great Hotel, fab hidden spot
from PucciBlu
This hotel was top class in regards to cleaness, quitness, neighbourhood, location and price.
The staff was kind and very helpful.
We did not try the breakfast, but other reviews acclaimed it as very good.
We would definetly go back.

Real France

The Hotel du Theatre has everything to recommend it except possibly the size of the rooms for those who want to sleep in a barn. For ordinary mortals, it offers warm, clean accommodation, delightful and helpful staff, and excellent value for money. All kinds of very good restaurants and bars are within a hundred yards of the hotel, and the whole of Paris is easily accessible from the neighbouring Rome and Villiers metro stations. Half an hour's brisk walk in one direction will take you to Montmartre, while a similar stroll through the Parc Monceau gets you to the Champs Elysees. Forget the plastic multi-nationals; this hotel is the real Paris
Nice quiet hotel in central Paris
from short_breakers
Booked this hotel after reading the reviews on this site. Great for a peaceful sleep after a full day's site seeing. Rooms are clean with en suite, not too small, but why go to Paris if you only want to stay in the hotel room.
The hotel is minutes from Rome and Villiers metro stations and is only 15 - 20 minute walk from Boullevard Haussman if you feel like a nice walk.
We dined in local restaurants too many to choose from. We would use this hotel again.

Lovely little hotel

Excellent location, on a quiet little street but on a short distance from two metro stations and from a walking distance from many places of interest.
The service was friendly and the room cute and comfortable (on a small side, though) and very tidy.
The coffee, croissants and pain au chocolat were delicious. The only drawbacks regarding breakfast were that there was no apricot jam after the first two mornings (it's obviously more popular than strawberry...) and on the last morning there was no butter. When I asked for it I was told that there was none, but a bit later people in the next table got some!
Still,I would definitely recommend the hotel and stay there again.

Just come back from a five day break at the hotel du theatre in Paris! Overall this was an excellent hotel at a very good price. Rooms were of a good size, clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was served in the basement - although the room was only small, we never had a problem getting a table. I point to note is that, though we were told breakfast was served until 10:30, get there early - as one day we arrived at 9:30 and there was not much left.
the hotel is situated in a typical Parisian neighbourhood, which offers many amenities. Although there were many restaurants within the neighbourhood we only went to one - which was the AQIB restaurant Indian. The food was good quality and at a good price.
Overall we had an excellent stay at a lovely hotel.

A Must

You won't find a better value for money. For a very reasonnable price, you get all you can expect to make your stay the most efficient: the rooms are very clean, staff friendly: we even met the owner of the hotel, who is fluent in English and took time to give us very good tips for shoppings and restaurants in the area. The hotel is just next to the tube station and bus stop, a few minutes from the Grands Magasins Printemps and Galeries Lafayette (care your wallets!).
Last thing: the "all you can eat breasfast buffet" is typically french with the best croissants and pains au chocolat I ever ate in my life !!!

We had a great time in Paris and our stay at Hotel du Theatre was definitely part of it!
Nice little hotel. Friendly staff that always gave us good advice with a smile (trust me, it doesn't happen all that often in Paris). The location is perfect to get a feel of Parisian life. In a residential neighborhood, yet close to lots of restaurants, steps from the subway... and near the Galleries Lafayettes (not too good for your wallet but boy, they have really nice stuff).
Cons: watch your weight on their all-you-can-eat breakfast (too much croissants and pains au chocolate! Who said French women don't get fat??)
All in all, a great experience at a very reasonable price. Enjoy!

This gorgeous hotel has an excellent location, It is easily accessible by public transport, it is in walking distance from the main commercial district and is surrounded by all restaurants you may wish.Owner and staff are superb, expecially the young and pretty lady (MarieJo) at the concierge. The hotel is an absolut must for the traveller going to Paris, ask to MJ for a special long term or out of season or family rate, she will be able to help you in any of your request. Super Hotel !
Top Local Tips for Paris
Metro Escalators are not the norm at many Paris metro stations which makes negotiating luggage very difficult; consider a taxi rather than the metro, even for a short distance.
The Metro Use the metro! Go to the information desk in the morning at the metro station and ask for a "Region 1 + 2 day pass". It's very cheap, and it allows you to get around the city in no time at all.
Beggars Paris is full of beggars, seems like one on every corner, look out for eastern european gangs operating around tourist attractions.
