Most Charming and Comfortable

I'm nervous writing such a glowing review because it will probably result in it being doubly difficult to book a room at this hotel in the future, but here it goes! I have stayed several times at the Hotel Du Midi and it always puts a smile on my face! The rooms are large and comfortable - several even have jacuzzi baths available. Although central, the hotel is located in a very quiet street, so I have never had a problem getting a nice night's sleep. The beds are wonderful. The hotel is convenient rail and subway travel, and is situated across from the fascinating Catacombes. The staff is cheerful and speak excellent English. They are very happy to suggest dining and sight-seeing options away from the tourist-traps, and to give you pointers on how to experience the tourist-traps you do want to see without getting fleeced!

I don't travel to Paris for a luxurious hotel room. I travel to experience everything the city has to offer and then come home to a nice, clean comfortable hotel. That is Hotel Du Midi. You will be greeted by Boutros who has been there for years. Accomodating and informative, he speaks excellent English. The hotel is across the street from a subway and train stop. Very convenient - just short ride to the center of Paris. I've stayed there many times and will always come back.
