Quintescential Paris!!

And inexpensive!! Less than 50 euro. The toilet was down a flight of stairs. Narrow and old. The shower was all the way down stairs. The room was clean, with a sink, a comfortable bed and those louvered shuttered windows looking down on a narrow Paris side street. Short walk to Gare de Lyon. The staff spoke lovely broken english as only the Parisians can do. The reason I am writing this is that I recommended it to friends so what they hey!! Loved it.
