Top Local Tips for Paris
Trains/Metro Make sure you understand that RER trains are not the same as Metro trains, both criss cross Paris but some maps show only one or the other and some show both.
"Great Shopping in Paris" Some great places to go shopping in paris are Gallery La Fayette ann Printemps. (Not to mention Louis Vuitton and Chanel!). Ps. Gallery La Fayette has some pretty good sales.
The Louvre If you are planning to go to 'The Louvre' aim to be there for about 8.45am (it opens at 9am) and try to come in from the metro entrance as it is a lot quieter even on a Saturday. Head straight for the Mona Lisa to get your photos taken etc and get it over with before the crowds arrive then enjoy!

Both times the room was comfortable and clean and the staff are extremely helpful and polite with excellent English! Cannot fault the location either for the price. Very reasonable cost for a lovely hotel.
