Good place to be for me, my wife and daughters, age 7 & 4. Friendly staff and good breakfast (except for the coffee) for 6 euros.

The staff here is very friendly and the owner, Claude, his son Yohann, and the evening manager, Gino, all speak English as well as English, Swedish, Creole (from Mauritius) and probably some other languages I don't know! There are 5 floors and while the 5th is definitely a workout to get to (there's a small bagagerie on the main floor if you must leave something really heavy), at least two of the rooms -- 20 and 21 (singles, though 21 could also be for two intimate people) have a view of the Eiffel Tower! It's a fun neighborhood with cafes and restaurants, lots of movie theaters and also crepe stands. This is on a quiet side street. If you are staying more than a couple of days, bargain for a lower rate.

Nice small hotel for my wife and I. Small rooms and bathrooms, good prices, very clean, nice staff who understood english and my mangled french. Again, no elevator. Try the restaurant next door... It has excellent food.
