Really enjoyed our stay at the Paris Opera, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy; there was a wide choice for breakfast. It is down a side street but near to the centre of Paris. Would recommend this hotel for families and couples.

Don't be fooled by the photos. It's so much better than it seems. Seems like a small Louvre. Not expensive.

We are staying at the Holiday Inn in Opera; a charming traditional 1920's building. Our room 112 is exceptionally large and comfortable for Paris standard.We are throughly pleased with our choice of accommodation as even the breakfast room is delightfully appointed and is filled with warmth and ambience.It is also close to our favourite restaurants Julian and Catherine,not to mention one of the most fascinating, lively and captivating streets in Paris the Rue d' Aboukir.

Top Local Tips for Paris
Museums In order to avoid waiting in the cold buy your tickets for popular museums (like Louvre and d'Orsay) in advance. Or make sure you get there first, half an hour before they open.
Moulin Rouge is overrated. Skip it entirely, you can see the same revue in Las Vegas for a lot less money! You will see a two hour show with only 30 minutes of can-can in a very drab environment.
Travel in the off-season. If you're into musuems, then try Paris in the winter. You'll get better deals on accomodation and better service. You'll also avoid the ridiculous crowds at some of the tourist hotspots.
