It's not a good hotel. I mean, you can only use it to sleep and take a shower (at least if there's one in your bedroom).
Beds are quite comfortable and noise can be stopped if you close the windows.
People from hotel are friendly, they even lend you things as forks, knives, more towels..if you ask for it.
The situation is great if you're a tourist, there are supermarkets, restaurants, bakery, apotheke...all near the hotel.
It's not a family hotel but for youth, you get a free place to sleep. No bugs and clean every day.

Top Local Tips for Paris
stay in Montmatre! The Montmatre area is a nice relaxed area to be in.The Holiday Inn is excellent. See the Sacre Couer and views in the evening. Bars with oudoor seats and patio heaters near abbesses metro - even in February! Don't eat in the main tourist square , there are a couple of restaurants on Rue Tholoz where we had brilliant meals and wine at reasonable prices. One of them was number 16 on that street but can't remember the name. The atmosphere was lively and the food very french but the very helpful staff talked us through the menu.
Bring Comfortable Shoes You walk a lot and climb a lot of stairs, so bring very comfortable shoes!
Using the train to the plane This was the first time I ever used the train to get to the airport and it was super easy. I don't know why I have not saved myself the $45.00 euros- it is much more fun to spend them on gourment goodies at the airport then to a taxi! Use it- unless you have tons of luggage.

There are a lot of shops and also le gare du nord. You don't have le grand luxe but you don't have to pay for that. This is for me the best hotel in Paris.
