Great location; great rates; charming!
Can't beat the price on this one. Our balcony overlooked a charming scene of florist shops, cafes, book stores and beautiful buildings. The room was small but comfortable for two people who only returned there to re-group before heading out again, or to sleep for the night. In-room WC, sink and shower. Daily maid service. Personnel were very accomodating. Breakfasts were very good.

Olde World Charm!
Love it! Love it! Love it! First stayed when I was 19 & two other time later.. will always re-visit this hotel for it's charming ambience & amazing locale to le jardin & st germaine.

Wonderful
Great location. Hard to beat actually. Not fancy at all. Inexpensive but funky with creaky floors. The breakfast is good. The owners are fantastic. Helpful and kind. I first stayed here in 1995 and I’ve never stayed anywhere else when ever I’ve been in Paris.

It's amazing!
I love L'Hotel Gay Lussac! We have stayed there twice now, the rooms are cheap especially considering where the hotel is located. The breakfast which is included in the price are gorgeous, and the staff are all really friendly!
We were there when the world cup final was on, and we watched the game in a nearby restaraunt and then back at the hotel in the lobby, was a really fun but tense time especially since france lost to italy :S
but such a great little place, obviously not immaculate or grand like other hotels in paris but for where it is, and for what you get, the price is amazing!! the beds are comfy and the en-suite is nice enough.
Overall, love it! Definitely will go again, it wouldn't be Paris without staying there!!
