Average place
3 stars are not justified as it most thigs are just very basic. Breakfast room is too small and queueing is normal when hotel is full. The breakfast is just rools, no cereals and had to ask for milk for tea nearly every day as it was not put on table. The was curtain for the shower which meant the water splashed all over the floor which was dangerous as 1 of our party had to be helped out of the bath as they had to stand in it to have a shower. The only thing going for this hotel is the location, the metro is only arounbd the corner & there is a good cafe/pub - Le Mailliot beside it. Reception staff were pleasent, but some of the waitress staff could do better in presentation to the customer. The air conditioning in the room was'nt very effective and the bedroom looked out into what represented a building site/dump from the block behind it. The back rooms were very gloomy. I got a look at the front rooms of hotel and you wold'nt think it was the same place.

Good location - shame about the hotel
I don't understand how this hotel can be given 3 stars as it falls short of other 3* hotels that I have stayed in. The room was very small, which is is not unusual for central Paris hotels, and the bed was equally small. It was disappointing that the cleaners do not take much pride in their work - my soap block had been used by the previous guest and not changed for my arrival. The airconditioning was a waste of electricity.
Breakfast is served in the basemant dining room which was dingy and stuffy with poor ventilation. All that was on offer was a few croissants and pastries along with an orange juice and tea/coffee. You would be better booking room only as there are many cafes locally which serve breakfast at a reasonable price in much better surroundings.
As mentioned in a previous review, the location is excellent.

A nice hotel close to all
Is a hotel in front of the Palais du Congress, and a few blocks from de Champs Elysees, Arch de Triumph, La Defense. A metro station in front of the hotel (line 1) only 4-5 stops to the Louvre. Great price, but book trough internet (cheaper rates with breakfast included). Breakfasts are great. Some of the people at the desk not too helpful and friendly, especially the ones at daytime. Rooms are small but cozy, if you like to blow dry your hair, forget it, if you want to iron something forget it also....
