Don't beleive the pictures. This place is dated, no english tv, no internet, only plug in bathroom, sick blocked, tiny room, walls as thin as paper, staff not interested, diabolical. Ever seen the film the others, I saw no other people

Totally okay hotel for being the budget alternative. Location, location, location! It is perfect, in the heart of Quartier Latin... five to ten minutes walk from Pantheon, Jourdain de Luxemburg, Notre Dame, Sorbonne, Saint Garman du Pres. Me and my girlfriend stayed here for four nights. Clean bathrooms, nice staff. Simple breakfast (continental), no buffet!
I also read that some people had problems with plumbing. I have to say it is true. There is this clunking sound that keeps you awake and won't stop. But I found the solution that worked for us, we stayed at the top floor. You go up and let some water go from the crane for about a 10 secs, and after that the clunking noise stops. But if you flush the toilet after that you'll have to do same procedure again :-)

We spent a long weekend at this hotel during the summer. We were disapointed with the room (it was rather plain), the plumbing was terrible and beware! the hotel plays host to lots of school children during the summer and they made a real racket! Great location though! Would of expected more for my money, staff seemed completely disinterested (no goodbye when we left, no welcome in the mornings).Give breakfast a miss, bread roll and butter/jam....3/10

It's a nice place, clean and convenient.
Good location, friendly staff who remember
your room number. The plumbing is a bit
noisy, though, and you get a fair bit
of street noise if your windows are open.
(No air conditioning.)
It has a good left bank, French feel to it.
