Jacquamart Andre Museum A century plus old mansion with the original art and furniture. This takes about an hour but is well worth it.

Our booking was through the EasyJet hotels site, which we got on a 3 nights for 2 basis which cost us 175GBP (approx 250 euros), which was for bed and breakfast - an excellent rate for such a central location.
We arrived on the Monday morning and made our way to the hotel from Charles de Gaulle airport using the RER(train) line B to Chatelet Les Halles and changing on to the Metro (underground) to Franklin D. Roosevelt at a cost of 8.5 euros each, which was about a 5 minute walk to the hotel.
We arrived at approx 11am and was allowed to check-in to our room, which should have been at 12pm by the very friendly receptionist.
The room was on the 4th level, which was accessible by the small but ornate ironwork elevator. Inside the room was accessed by a small passage way with a closet and separate WC to the left which led to the main bedroom area and bathroom. The room was of a reasonable size with a good king sized bed with the bathroom opposite. There are double doors which led to a balcony overlooking the street. There was a cable TV and dresser with mirror at the end of the bed, with the bathroom to the right. The bed was vrey comfortable and bathroom large and spotlessly clean. Maid service was extremely efficient and left the room and bathroom immaculate for the following day. The continental breakfast was served between 7ish and 11am, which comprised of fresh warm croissants, french bread rolls, various preserves, cheese, orange juice and a choice of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate served with warm milk, which was superb and filling.
Although we didn't use them, the bar and restaurant (except at breakfast) areas were beautifully appointed and would be fine places to eat and drink.
Overall we were absolutely delighted with our stay and would wholly recommend the Elysees Matignon to anyone, whether on a budget or not.
