Our family loved the Eiffel-Kennedy

Our family stayed here in mid-June and we enjoyed it greatly. The staff is friendly and helpful. We were traveling to Paris for the first time from America and although we had done our homework, it was still helpful to hear about restaurants nearby and the best ways to walk through the city, etc. The Eiffel Tower is within easy (15 min) walking distance but take the staff-recommended route down the island in the middle of the Seine for an unforgettable first walk in Paris. Breakfast is prepared every morning by the proprietress and there is a great selection of breads, cereals, quiche, and omelets, all homemade and very good. My wife and I traveled with two teenaged girls and were able to reserve adjoining rooms that had a hallway with an exterior door to form a suite for complete privacy. Although the beds were relatively small, we slept well in them. The bathrooms were clean and functional. One tip, skip the wine in the minibar and walk two doors down the street to an excellent wine shop for better values or go across the street to the market for snacks and sundry items. We will return to the Eiffel-Kennedy and recommend it to you!

A comfortable cozy Hotel

It is a lovely hotel with comfortable bed. The toilet is spacious and has a bath tub - Nice! We can also see that the owner has put in effort in taking care of details e.g. the provision of shoe shine tissue. From our room we could see the top part of Eiffel Tower which is within walking distance from the hotel. The train services: RER and Metro are also within walking distance. The owner and staff are friendly. We have a great stay at the cozy hotel.

My daughter and I returned to our beloved Eiffel Kennedy which has the best quiche lorraine in town for breakfast...we just love this little jewel.
We were there last year and returned this year to the 16th arrondissement to enjoy the safest neighborhood in Paris once again.
In addition to the rooms being cleaned very well, The bathrooms are exceptionally clean, and the service is great. At the front desk, they always have a smile and are full of advice and help when you need it. We will return again and again to this three star gem.

An Excellent hotel in Paris - not to miss during travel in Paris

I have passed an important amount of time in the Eiffel Kennedy Hotel in Paris. It has become as a second residence for me, due to several aspects:
first of all, the excellent quality of the hotel itself - in terms of services offered, and cosyness provided.
Then, the personnel excellent, friendly, full of ideas regarding pass time in Paris, paying important attention to all needs of the clients.
Not to miss, the quality of the owners - always present, taking care of a delicious home made breakfast, always listening and helping the clients, no matter the hour, no matter the season.
As I am often travelling to Paris, I would not stay in a different hotel - I really feel at home in the Eiffel Kennedy. I am positive that anyone having tried once this hotel, will certainly come back again.

My sweet home in Paris

It will date back to July, 2002 when I first enjoyed staying with my wife at Effel-Kennedy Hotel. It was a
vacation trip to Paris from Moscow where we spent six years for my foreign assignment.

Warmest welcome and care were extended to us by all the staff menbers of this hotel with nice smiles. Then, my wife and I myself were dertermined to make this hotel as our sweet home in Paris.

We returned to Japan from Russia in August, 2002, though. We have been back to our home in Paris sometimes with my daughter every year since then. We all love this cozy and sweet home in Paris.

We are coming back again next month, April, 2006.

I love Paris

I have stayed at this hotel on 2 occassions. It is clean, in a very good district and near the bus and metro. Its not far to walk to a bus to go up to Momarte. The breakfast is very nice and quite enough; however, you can always go downstairs and get a coffee and croissant in the AM. Its not far from the tower and down to the Seine.

Excellent Hotel, Good Neighbourhood

Hotel excellent, rooms clean and in very good condition. Staff speaks English and is friendly and helpful.

Its location is its attraction - it is outside the tourist areas and yet they are within easy reach. The city centre is 15-2o minutes away on the RER trains from the Radio-France/Kennedy station - a 5-minute walk away.

Surrounding the hotel is a proper neighbourhood with cafe, baker, butcher, supermarkets, post office, newspaper shop and late-night grocer shops.

The brasserie/bar Les Ondes down the street provide an enjoyable location for a meal or simply a drink while watching French Football.

Small rooms but cosy and nice...good views and situated with good transport links, small parisian supermarkets (cheap to buy drinks, snacks and say tarts/biscuits to take home)....great service within the hotel and a bakery opposite if ur leaving early to travel for the day and visit you can pick up snacks say croissants for the journey rather than brekkie at the hotel!>....me and my bf loved it, spent most of our time beside the eiffel tower restarunts surrounding it...only shame is theres no good bars that we discovered locally to have a good drink, Parisians in that part dont seem the clubbing bar sort, lots of restaraunts tho!>..don't worry about the negative comments, out journey/holiday was a great success and i only got back yesterday but i miss it already...Come back Paris!!!

A lovely new year stay.

We booked this hotel for a new years stay a couple of months ago and were then worried by two very negative reviews that subsequently appeared on tripadvisor.
We need not have been concerned however, the stay was excellent and we loved the hotel.
Yes, the rooms were small & yes, the eiffel tower was 20 minutes walk away, but the staff were the friendliest we have ever met and the breakfasts were to die for.
We would definitely stay there again without hesitation & so should you!

Great Stay in September!

My sister and I stayed three nights at the Eiffel Kennedy in late September and had a very nice time. We wanted to stay some place quiet and affordable, and EK fit the bill. The hotel is in the Trocadero neighborhood, which is not in the middle of all of the major sites, but it IS about three blocks from an RER station that brings you right to the Louvre/Musee D'Orsay area. It's also about six blocks to the Metro, which easily brings you to the Champs Elysees/Arc de T. The woman who greeted us was very nice and took time to show us a map and make suggestions and she listened patiently to my mangled french. (A couple of the male desk clerks could be friendlier.) There's an outdoor market on Friday with amazing food, and there is a bakery right across the street where we ate pain au chocolat every day. Granted, the room was very small, and the twin beds were very small (and so is the elevator). But--Our beds were made every day, towels were changed every day, we used the phone and the minibar, and we liked walking around the neighborhood and being near the Seine. We might go somewhere more centrally located next time, but for the price on short notice, this was just right for us.

Top Local Tips for Paris

Paris Visit Don't waste your money on the Paris Visit. It is a nice idea, and sounds good, but you would do a better job of buying the packages separately. If you buy the 7 day carte d'orange at any open ticket booth in the metro plus the museum pass you will spend less money and get more access. The only advantage to the Paris Visit is if you will be using the RER (regional train system) a lot since trips to Versaille and other areas are free.

Marina de Paris Dinner Cruise The Marina de Paris dinner cruise (we chose the twilight cruise) is a bit short - about one and a half hours - but the food is good, and the sights of Pars amazing. No commentary (which is good) and just a relaxing time.For 59 Euro per person, it was a highlight of our visit to Paris.

Bo-Zinc Cafe Try the Bo Zinc Cafe on Avenue Mozart within ten minutes of the hotel for a nice meal in pleasant sorroundings. Find a no smoking area as France still has antiquated habits of allowing a smoker to blow their output towards your meal.
