The best thing about the hotel is its central location and having quite a few shops and groceries around, so that you can buy what you need. However the people at the reception weren't very customer friendly. On the first day that we arrived our room wasn't ready and we had been allocated the room right next to the reception on the ground floor, by the street. So we asked to change it, but Leopold who was at the reception said we will have to pay extra. A few minutes later he said that it's fine, we don't need to pay anything and he gave us another room which was ready.
The room was clean on the first day, however the other 3 days that we stayed there the room service only made the beds and didn't clean anything.
A disadvantage was that our room was still overlooking the street, so when we opened the windows because it was warm it was quite noisy. There was no air conditioning, only an electric fan.
The TV had mainly French channels, then one or two Spanish and Italian channels. No English channels.
The last drop was when we returned to the room one day and found our clothes messed up in the suitcase. My husband's Lacoste top was missing and we didn't find it, even after we asked the person at the reception to talk to the cleaner and ask if they haven't by chance "found" a Lacoste top.
There is a hotel right next to Centre Ville Etoille but looks so much better (although the price and location are the same). So I would advice you not to stay at Centre Ville Etoille.
