Hotel should be marketed as very near Louis Blanc station and not GARD du NORD station which is almost 1 km away.
Site states check in after 7am- we arrived 12.45pm and were told room was not ready. We again tried our luck 3 30 pm to be given a room STILL UTILISED BY OTHERS. Receptionist was very arrogant and started to shout telling us to find alternative hotel if we are not happy as I was not happy about situation.
Otherwise, hotel room is very clean, amentities good although room seems bigger in picture.
Breakfast very good and location is optimal at 0Km to Louis Blanc station. Also good for dinner as there are various restaurants nearby. Quiet location

Top Local Tips for Paris

Metro The Metro is the easiest and cheapest way to get around, but if you're only traveling to the next stop, rather walk. The carnet of 10 tickets represents good value - it works out to about 1.10 euro per trip. Print out maps or get some maps as soon as you arrive, because you WILL get lost. Learn some basic French phrases - people are more likely to help you if you at least show willingness to speak in French.

Romantic and chique restaurant "Marty" There is a great seafood restaurant called " Marty" near the metro station " Les Gobelins". They serve mainly seafood but meat e.g. Chateaubriand is also very well made. The restaurant is well decorated, the waiters are nice and the ambience is very romantic. However, I would advice you to dress neatly since it is a quite chique restaurant.

Number 7!!! Louis Blanc station is once minute away, from there you can take the 7 line which is pretty quick to get connections to other places, if your sight seeing then all the major attractions are at most 20 minutes away.
