The hotel is conveniently located close to Metro and to the main shopping district as well as Montmartre. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Although we didn't breakfast there, our friends told us that breakfast was excellent and there were plenty of alternative restaurants nearby. My only gripe is that the cleanliness of the room left something to be desired!

We found the staff to be very friendly. The hotel was adequate for our needs. The rooms are small but we did mind because we were not there much. The place was inexpensive and convenient. We were near the metro, all kinds of resturants, cafes, bistros and the theater. Many of the movies show were in the original version so you have several to chose from. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We would definately go there again. We highly recommend it. Marth in Washington, DC

Top Local Tips for Paris
Buy a carnet Buy a 'Carnet' (it's literally 10 single Metro Tickets for a reduced price). Cheap and convenient and a fraction of the price of the London Underground.
Location My own personal view, which others may not share, is that it is better to be north of the Seine than south. I much prefer the atmosphere of the districts north of the river, and it is handier for all the main attractions.
Don't miss... ...the Orangerie gallery in the Jardin des Tuilleries which houses Monet's famous water illies paintings and a small but excellent collection of other paintings.
