Hotel staff attitude
We stayed in the Acadia Opera hotel for 4 days (3 nights). Our room was in the 7th floor. The next day after our check in the elevator of the hotel broke down and stopped functioning. It did not function for at least 4 days (we left after that and it still was not functioning!!) The hotel has only one (1) elevator. since we had to climb 7-8 floors the narrow spiralling stairs a few times a day (the brekfast room is located in -1 (minus 1) and since we have medical problems we asked to move to a lower floor and were told nothing available. We asked therefore to arrange so that we can move to another, comparable hotel or alternatively return our advanced payment and were told that they will not do it. We asked to speak with the manager who came back to us and told us that this situation is our problem.
If you are not a super sportmen beware!!
