Perfect location, great service, très branché
I stayed here for 3 nights on a romantic R&R stopover on the way home from a business trip in west Africa. Reception and concierge staff are young and enthusiastic and helpful and I think they would have been even if we did not speak French. Breakfast buffet is pricey at 20 Euros, but good. The hotel is easy walking distance to anywhere in St Germain, Montparnasse, the Louvre, the Marais, the Quartier Latin. The immediate area is full of good restaurants, antique and art galleries, the famous (if touristy and overpriced) cafés de Flore and des Deux Magots, Braserie Lipp, etc. The hotel is targeted towards young, hip media types, The decor is minimal, chic, but well-done and pleasing. The room (a double) was pretty tiny, but the bed was quite big. High-speed wireless internet available in the rooms and at a few computers in the lobby.
