This hotel was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at for the following reasons: - No hot water so we couldn't shower properly - They were painting the hallways so we had headaches from the fumes - No breakfast although promised - Not enough heat and we froze at night - Horrible service at front desk. Do not stay here if you can help it. Have a fun time in Paris though.

Warm, welcoming, truly helpful and always a delight to return to. It has become my favorite Paris Hotel. In a wonderfully convenient and quiet area from which to walk, catch a train or absorb a museum's treasures and delights. They even have a small collection of books in English which have been left behind for other travelers. Go. Enjoy.

The ambience and charm of Hotel Amelie made it a most delightful place to spend a week. The rooms are small (but I found most all of the Paris hotels I checked into quite small) - but, other than that, everything was excellent -- real beautiful geraniums growing in a windowbox, comfortable beds, very clean bathroom and bedroom, wonderful location on quiet street close to all the charm, cafes, interesting sites in a very safe area of Paris - great tea and croissants - and the best part was the very kind proprietors who were so helpful with our many questions. They were easy to understand and accepting of people from the US and other countries. Just a delightful energy swirling around the whole place --refreshing and easy.

This is a very pleasant hotel. My companion and I have stayed here several times (about every five years)It is in a relatively quiet neighborhood near good food and bakeries! The rooms are small but all have baths. Very nice breakfast area as well.
