Affordable lunch--southwestern style Visit our new friends, Jean-Claude and Nathalie at their deli-cafe, Le Petit Quercy, 114-116 Boulevard Diderot, 12th arrondissement. Just as you exit Métro stop Reuilly Diderot. If you love duck and foie gras, order the menu of sandwich or salad. Less than E10. Try their Monluc wine from Gascony, then buy a bottle to take home with their custom-packed foie gras. Both incredibly well-priced. Yumm! Jean-Luc makes an incredible sandwich with the crustiest bread. We've seen this place grow over five years and now people line up out the door for the great value and quality, but the line moves quickly. Tell them the people from New Jersey sent you! getting around in Paris Use the RER, very easy, safe, and it is everywhere. Do not use the bus system as it is very confusing and not so clean.

Institut du Monde Arabe There is a great view and a lovely restaurant/bar on the top floor of the Institut du Monde Arabe. Access is free and it's a peaceful place to spend the afternoon.
