Found the hotel "on spec" en route to the south. Exceleent service in all respects- good sizeable rooms bordering the river. We stayed on a Monday night and the restaurant was clsed, but the proprietaire aranged for a table in another restaurant 100m along the same road. Highly recommended!

A lovely hotel in a superb riverbank location. Great food and friendly service. Not cheap but worth the money. Handy for the Loire Chateaux
