Enjoyed our stay

We arrived after midnight due to a train strike in Italy and we were checked-in without any fuss and placed in a nice quiet room. Room was decent size and nicely decorated with all usual amenities. Bathroom was fine with plenty of hot water. Staff were helpful and spoke good English. Did not partake of their breakfast so can not comment on that.
Hotel is well situated in walking distance from station and 5 mins to the Promenade des Anglais. 15 min walk to the flower market that transforms into a restaurant area when stalls are closed. Plenty of restaurants and bars.
Would stay at Villa Victoria again.

Excellent value for money. Convenient location. Extensive continental breakfast, well worth the 11 euros extra. Helpful, friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again but next time pay extra and opt for the garden rooms.

Disregard any negative comments about this hotel! We had a wonderful stay. Location perfect, staff friendly and helpful, good breakfast and housekeeping superb. Would recommend paying extra for garden rooms and stating whether you prefer bath or shower.

I stayed three days at the villa victoria hotel (I was in the room 210). It is very well located and pleasant.
All the staff is very sympathic, smiling and helpfull.
I could walk to the promenade, which is really worth seeing.
The Villa Victoria is really lovely !

Great Hotel

This hotel is a 10 minute walk from train station and 10 minute walk to beach and downtown area. Great location and a great value. Rooms were large (for Europe), immaculately clean. Nothing fancy but if you just want a safe, clean and well organized room, this is the place. Staff was freindly and helpful. Rooms overlooking garden, (ours also had a balcony over garden) are a few bucks more (170 euro) but well worth it. Breakfast room was very nice. My wife said it was the nicest, most charning breakfast room she has seen. This is a well managed 3 star hotel in nice area. Would definetely stay there again.

Villa Victoria - Lovely Hotel

We have just come back from staying a week at Villa Victoria. The staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. Rooms were a decent size and clean. I can't rate the breakfast as we didn't eat in the hotel. We just went to a local bakery each morning. Location is brilliant - 10 minutes from the Train Station and 7 minutes to the Promenade. We will be staying there again when we visit Nice.

Charming place to stay. Excellent for the price. Employes smiles were free and the location is great. Be in touch with the city from there is easy.

Room was large and clean and well decorated , if a little floral . Breakfast was buffet style and above average . Beautiful garden . Small bar . Staff lovely . When there was a plumbing problem - no hot water for a few hours , manager wrote letter of apology and gave all residents a beautifully presented box of chocolates

We stayed in villa victoria during a week-end of June, and we loved our journey !
The hotel, in the very center, nearby the beach, is beautiful : large room, very cleaned bathroom, great atmosphere, wonderful garden in which you can have a very, very good breakfast !
All the staff was charming and did its best to make our stay delighful.

We spent a great week-end in this hotel.
The staff is professionnal and friendly, always ready to fulfil your requests.
The rooms are clean and well arranged with a tipical decoration.
We strongly recommend this hotel for anyone who wish to spend a great stay in Nice.

Top Local Tips for Nice

Buses and Trains The buses are very cheap in Nice. It only cost 1 Euro each to go to Monaco and took about 40 mintues. We came back by train (and the station in Monaco is a revelation). This only cost just over 3 euros each and took about 10 minutes. Well worth the visit to see the yachts! Also only 1 euro on bus to St Paul de Vence, beautiful village in the hills of Nice, a little touristy but lovely.

TRANSPORT TIP TO SEE CANNES ST TROPEZ ETC USE THE BUS ONLY 1EURO 30 ALL TRIPS AS OPPOSED TO(MUCH) MORE EXPENSIVE TRAIN.

CONVENIENT Very convenient to visit Cannes, Monte Carlo and anywhere along the coast
