| Real Nice |

We had booked a hotel in Vielle Nice with Expedia and found we were bounced by the hotel in favour of a party of Germans. Stranded we went off in search of an alternative. Just around the corner was the Picardy. A real old fashioned hotel, but with lovely staff who were able to offer us a perfectly good double room with en suite for our 5 days. It was clean, basic but just where we wanted to be for an unbeleivably low price. Comfy bed, quiet and the best part was waking up to the smell of baking in the patisserie next door. We had fab breakfasts there. No shortage of eateries very close by. |
