A Delightful Surprise

We went to visit our daughter who is working in the resort so we did not want a 'ski packageâ and we booked half board. We did not really know what to expect but we were actually thrilled when we realised what a little gem we had discovered. The room had a fantastic view, well how could it not in such surroundings? The evening meals were superb, excellent French cuisine, with as much wine as you want included. There was a .complete programme of activities and excursions and nightly entertainment. So it was all in French--- this only added to the charm and fun of it all --fun is universal! The staff appreciated my humble efforts at their language and were only too willing to include us and communicate in much better English! The other guests, almost all French, were friendly and helpful and the week went by far too quickly. The facilities on site were very good. We consider we had more than value for money and are most definitely returning to both Morzine and Le Cret!
