Chose Hotel L Equipe as it was across road from ski lift.Found family room cramped, all in a single (2 bed size)room. 2nd night soup was un-eatable with far too much salt, not just salty, un-eatable.
Breakfast not bad but for the price not good either.
Went to use jacuzzi and it was cold, pool also cold, owner insisted it was 26C but I know cold when I feel it, my kids were shivering and had blue lips in less than 5 mins. Couldn't dry clothing after skiing 'cos radiator (single one)in room was cold most of the time. Ski locker had no heat unless you paid for it! All previous ski hotels used were free for this.
Found owner and wife unfriendly and rude, they also tried to rip us off £60 extra when we decided to move hotel to finaly have a good one.
Dont use this hotel, if in Morzine go to La Clef des Champs it is 1000 times better.

I have spent very good time with my familly. Price is not expensive, swimming pool is clean and hot, comfortable. Friendly with excellent food, rooms & staff.

What can I say about this hotel, but keep away! We foolishly stayed there for the last 5 days (from 6th January 2007) I should have realised when I couldn't get email confirmation from them that things weren't going to be good. We arrived and were given our room keys, no welcome, no information not even guidance as to where to go. The rooms were pokey and the drains stunk. There was no information anywhere in English or for that matter in French about what was available. The showers would only run slowly and the water was tepid. The jacuzzi was dirty, greasy and stank, the swimming pool was the same condition and icy cold. In the gym, none of the equipment worked and was actually dangerous. The squash courts were littered with tools and the only ball available to us was split, the owner insisted he didn't have any other balls only to be seen giving two new balls to a french guest 10 minutes later. Table tennis was unavailable as there were no bats or balls. The communal tv in the lounge was a 12" portable and the one in the room was cracked and could only get the basic french channels. The entertainment programme showed that the previous week they had shown a couple of films, this week nothing was shown, none of the activities advertised on the website materialised. The food in the restaurant was worse than basic, on the first night we had chicken in mushroom sauce, when I told the waitress I was allergic to mushrooms she took it back to the kitchen and scraped off the sauce. The drinks in the bar were mega expensive and it was so hot you couldn't bear to be in there for longer than 5 minutes.

During our entire stay, not once did anyone speak to us or ask if everything was ok, we were made to feel like intruders in someone elses home. The Family that run the hotel have three young children who along with their friends shout and scream from the minute they get home from school.
Due to the awful hotel, lack of snow and a couple of injuries we decided to come home two days early, however even though we checked it would be ok to leave early we were still charged for the last two nights and were still expected to be out of our rooms by 10am.

All in all this hotel is an absolute nightmare and definitely not worth 7 euros a night each let alone the 70 we paid.

No good service off the owner. The food wasn't very good. Too much noise. Swimming pool and jacuzzi stinks.
