Cheap, basic hotel in excellent location
We booked this hotel independently as we thought it would be a cheaper way to go skiing. The hotel itself proved to be quite reasonably priced and had a car park which was useful. The staff didn't speak English so we had a bit of a guessing game with the rules and what the price included. The Igloo is a couple of minutes walk to the Pleney lift and maybe 5 minutes to the Super Morzine so well positioned and close to all the bars and shops too. The hotel didn't do evening meals unless you'd booked with Chrystal but the room they used was a bit of a dungeon so we were glad we were doing our own thing. The rooms were very basic and dark but clean. We had a balcony and views over the town but the hotel is very noisy. You could hear every bit of movement and conversation going on in the corridors including a particularly emotional lady on her mobile at 4 am one morning.
