apres ski in meribel apres ski in motarret is poor to non-existent. End your last ski run in meribel, go for apres-ski there and get the free ski bus back to mottaret any time before midnight

Skiing Don't go for the nightlife, but you can't beat it for skiing!

Meribel/Mottaret in Les 3 vallees Woderful base for skiing the 3 valleys as situated in the middle and Mottaret will have less crowds at the ski lifts at the start of the day compared to staying in Meribel centre or further down the valley. This facilitates a quick get away up and over the mountain tops to the left, Courchevel, to the right Les Menuires (many runs in the sunshine "itineraire du soliel") and Val Thorens. Watch out for obscene pricing when you stop for a hot drink...we paid 23Euros for 3 Chocolats and 1 cappucino at "Le Cour de Cristal, Chalet Restaurant, Meribel...!!
