Top Local Tips for Meribel

Fancy lunch on the slopes If you don't want to get ripped off by the restaurnats on the slopes. Save money by having a large breakfast then hit the slopes, stop off a couple of times and just relaxed with hot choc or soft drink in the restaurants. Eat some snacks and then have a large dinner. This proved to be very cost effective especially when a medicore spag bol and drink can set you back £20 each. Make sure youski in Courchevil and Val Thoren. Sometimes Meribel gets in different weather where as the other sides get better snow

the long haul Make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to get too and from the resort if you are travelling by car. the roads into the Alpes can be horrific on changeover day (Saturday)

Expensive beer Wow - the bars are expensive in this resort. Get to Scott's bar (by the Post Office) before 6pm and you might get a 'pint' for €3. After 6pm you'll be paying over €6 a glass!
