lemon festival Enjoy a early holiday in February and see the Menton Lemon Festival and the Nice Flower Parade.
Food need not be expensive! Everyone heads West into town to get something to eat. Don't do that! Treat yourself to an ocean-view room at the Napoleon and at meal time, head SW to the grocery store. Pick up a bottle of reasonably priced champagne or wine, a few supplies, and come back to your room and eat on your balcony - soaking up the sun and enjoying the breathtaking views!!! There is also a tuck shop close by and a patisserie. Buy a ready-made sandwich from a street vendor and head back to your room. You won't regret it!!!
Live music Although generally a fairly quiet place at night we found good live music at the Endroit bar/restaurant on the quay from Thursday-Sunday (with a beer/cocktail 'happy hour' from 6-8pm each day).
