| Passable room but money issues |

I found this hotel a bit seedy, but the room itself was clean and neat. However, my reservation was lost and when I paid for a new room at the adjoining Hotel Boulevardier, unbeknownst to me, I had already been charged for the first reservation at Hotel Iris which has still not been reimbursed.Given, they did give us a free breakfast for the dropped reservation so that was nice, but I recommend you not give this establishment your credit card number. It was apparently only meant as a "guaratee" and they were never going to charge anything on it, but they did, and now I have been double billed. Getting the repayment has been a nightmare despite my phone calls to the hotel manager, M. Cedric Bernard, who promised a reimbursement which has still not shown up a month later. It is sufficient accomodation for little money so if that's what you're looking for, this is it. Just pay in cash only. |
