A good average hotel although some of the rooms are small, so much so that on arrival we were given a room at the top of a spiral staircase which was very, very small. After a word with the owner we were moved to a larger room at the front which had great views over the square at the front. The hotel is clean and pleasent and you would be hard pushed to find a better location in this price range.

Hotel room was clean but small, wouldn't be practical for a stay of more than a few days. View was lovely. Bed was comfortable, maids came daily to change bed sheets & towels. Some noise from the street could be heard at night. Lille is a lovely town with plenty to see, however make sure you brush up on your French as the waiting/shop staff don't all speak good English. If you're a vegetarian getting a decent meal is near on impossible in Lille, be prepared to eat cheese, bread and chips for the majority of your stay. There is a nice Pizza restuarant near the hotel (something like Orange Explosion!?), they do a good veggie pizza.
