Brilliant!

We have just returned from a skiing trip at le Skilt and all I can say is it was brilliant. The staff were fantastic and really made our stay so enjoyable. They could not do enough for us. The location is great - right by the slopes and 3 lifts on the doorstop interconnecting into the whole of the 3 Valleys area. The food was excellent with good meals for children too. The rooms are basic but with plenty of storage space and great hot showers - both a must for skiers!

i went to the hotel le skilt in april of this year with my school. it was the first time i had been skiing and the staff at the hotel made us all seem welcome. the ski school met us just a stones trow away from the hotel and were all really nice and helpful whilst learning the basics. the rooms are very basic but are rather larger than you would expect, they were clean and tidy though and thats the most important thing.
i would definatly recogmend this hotel to anyone booking a school party or going with a large group of people you wont regret it !!

A late booking which really worked or us. Great location, at foot of slopes with lifts and ski school just outside. Hotel mainly caters for school groups but we extra residents were well catered for- food was very good, but limited choice. Very pleasant and helpful staff,rooms bigger and better than some!Good balcony, lift and tv did not work but did not need them. Good ski storage-secure. Good sociable bar.

Stayed Le Skilt March 2008 couldn't really fault it good food, friendly staff, decent prices for lunches on the terrace looking up the slopes in a nice sun trap. Very easy access to both slopes and ski hire shop. Pleasant evening in bar but can be noisy ill around twelve so don't go moaning about that. Only one fault I would say is that the bath in the room could have done with a wipe round but hey you can live with that, Splendid hotel, well done all staff.

Otherwise known as, Les Duex Alpes, this is a perfectly located hotel, less than 1 minute's walk (in ski boots) from the main resort lifts. Les Menhuires is renowned for its limited night life, but what there is seems focused on this hotel. All the staff are very friendly, and the food is of a very good standard - we certainly never went hungry. The rooms are basic, but extremely well proportioned for a ski resort. If you want superb skiing and can live without a night club, this is the place for you.

We took our seven year old son away for his first ski-ing trip. We arranged a last minute christmas break. The hotel was newly referbished and some work was still unfinished. Our room was better than expected with an interconnecting room for our son. The food took a little getting used to but we had a variety of resturants to choose from. The bar was conveniently located and overlooked the resort. The ski slope and ski lifts were all a stones throw away and the ski school met just outside the hotel. Perfect location for shops, resturants and ski ing without having to take busses etc. located near by is a spa, gym and heated outdoor pool which was great fun especially when outside temp was -4 and pool tem was 70. There was a christmas torch light procession on christmas eve where the instructers and santa ski down in convoy by torch light which was magical and very beautiful. I would recommend it to anyone. Not for clubbers or anyone looking for heavy night life.
