Great stay for skiing and food

Party of 7 (aged 15 upwards) had great stay. Very convenient for ski lift. Lovely bar, always busy with French locals. Staff all very friendly, hotel clean and food surprisingly good and cheap (especially the meal of the day). Breakfast just coffee etc, bread,jams and orange juice but they did not object to you bringing in your own stuff. Bus stop right next to hotel so convenient if miss last ski lift and need to get back from Les Gets.
Make sure you note time of last ski lift so you can get high enough to ski back to hotel at end of day.
Would definitely stay there again.

Top Local Tips for Les Gets

Auberge la Fruitiere des Perrieres This is the restaurant for the local dairy and we were really impressed. The menu is limited to dishes made with the local cheeses, so fondue, raclette and vacherin de mont d'or. Desserts are based on the dairy cream and ice creams made in-house. Go with a good appetite! It's got a lovely atmosphere and the staff are friendly. You have to book - 0033450798922.
