Great hotel & fabulous staff
The best 'alpine' hotel I've stayed in in 25 years skiing!! Newly refurbished in good taste. Very clean large bedroom and clean bathroom with shower, (bath short - I'm 6'2"" but lashings of hot water!, fabulous south facing balcony overlooking the busy sun terrace. The staff were very friendly, a bit of French language does help, and the table service was excellent. The food was very good at night, though only fresh bread and croissant in the morning, but with great homemade preserves! You can literally ski to door of the hotel; and ski from the hotel. Only pitfall is that Les Deux Alpes has a boring green run down from the mountain or two black runs, especially challenging for intermediate skiers if there is no fresh snow. Te snow park at 3200m is great fun. Go there, enjoy. Peter

Couldn't ask for more!
I just wanted to write a quick note to advise others that the Hotel Cote Brune is a great place to stay. The accomodation was fantastic, the rooms were clean everyday, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was of a very high standard. Not only all the above but the Hotel is ideally located - right at the bottom of the slopes and skiing to the front door was not a problem. Problem was not having a beer on the wonderful sun terrace before dinner. I highly recommend this hotel.
