Top Local Tips for Le Touquet Paris Plage

some great places to eat, but boy they charge an arm and leg for wine! try some of the less expensive restaurants - their food is just as good but perhaps the suuroudings are not quite so plush. try the english tea rooms down town.

Go fly with Lyd Air Get a flight across the channel from Lyd Airport in Kent. Great experience and the hotel is a short cab ride through the gorgeous forested area from the airport. Check out the market in the centre of town on Saturday mornings. Le Perard fish restaurant is fabulous! Le Jardin restaurant also lovely. The town takes great pride in its floral displays and the park is absolutely beautiful. Seems as though vandalism is as yet unheard of (joy!). Try and speak a bit of French if you can?! Nearly everyone can speak English, but I think its only good manners to have a try with your schoolgirl/boy French if you can!

Booking your hotel If you can go mid week you may well get a deal if you contact the hotel direct. I think this is used more by tourists than business people, so the reverse to many UK hotels, its cheaper in the week. The hotel were very helpful by email, and I would recommend you stay there instead of commercialised Calasi for a change, it was lovely.
