We were on a touring holiday and were bitterly disappointed with the hotel we had booked a few miles from Laurzerta so went into town to find something better. The local Tourist Information centre directed us to the Hotel du Quercy and it turned our to be a real gem. With only one star we were not expecting a palace but what it lacked in luxury was more than compensated for by the friendly welcome, the charm of the place, Small but spotlessly clean room with en suit facilities and wonderful food served in the dining room. A real treat. Most of our fellow diners seemed to be locals, always a good sign to us
If you can look beyond a slight air of gentile delapidation and accept the quirky back entrance from the car park through a garage/store room then we would recommend a visit if for nothing else then the friendly welcome and superb menu.
