Located on the edge of town, but only a few minutes walk to the town center, Les Ramparts is a great place to "get away". This is our third trip to Kaysersberg staying at Les Ramparts. The young lady at the front desk was very accommodating to our request to stay in the Annex building. We travel in a Dodge Grand Caravan and the Annex building has 10 parking spots right in front of the building. The building does have a lift. This time they put us in room 37. It has a kitchenette (refrigerator, sink, and microwave) and a balcony with table and chairs for sitting outside. There is a small sofa that makes into a single bed in addition to the two twin beds placed together European style. Breakfast is typical French, croissant/breads, cereal, cheeze, soft-boiled eggs, and juice, though not a buffet. You can take breakfast (8 Euro extra) in the main building of the hotel or have it delivered to your room. The only drawback for this American is that there is no shower curtain in the bathroom. Water got everywhere when I showered. I highly recommend this hotel to all travelers.
