The real attraction of the Riviera is the women,and they are all Russian One of the least reported news and cultural phenomenon is that Americans have been replaced by Russians in the French Riviera and that the women all look like models.There is nothing remotely vulgar about them.THey are tall,rich,confident,independent and generally act as if the Riviera was something they let us use during Communism,but are now retaking as the genuine Aristocratic proprietors.All the cultural events in MOnaco and CAnnes is geared to Russians.THey arrive in Bentleys and pay cash.THey are refurbishing all the Russian Orthodox Churches.The younger set gravitates to JUan.
