Not much elbow room

We relocated to the Ibis from the Ace Hotel for the one night they were full. Much more expensive but the extra money doesn't buy you very much, except the use of a bar and dining room. Rooms are smaller, much noisier and not as clean and I now fully understand the phrase "elbow room" - you bang your elbow on the shower screen when brushing your teeth at the basin. It's ok, there's nothing wrong with it, but the Ace Hotel is much better value for money. And if the Ibis suggests the nearby Courtepaille Grill to eat, run very fast in the opposite direction. The worst meal I have EVER had in France. There's a nearby auberge (Petit Mas) which is much nicer and much more authentic.
