We have stayed in this hotel before and found it very satsifactory, in fact we spent one of our best New Years Eve ever a few years back. We have been coming to Isola 2000 for over 30 years, infact since the resort opened.
This hotel has been refurbished and is now appalling. There is no parking making dropping off skis luggage etc. very difficult and finally had to park almost a kilometer away.
The lighting in the room is appalling along with the "decor" taupe, almost impossible to read. Heating is marginal with no heat at all in the bathroom (in a ski resort???)
The Dining Room and Bar is now located in the basement with queues for buffet type food of the cheapest possible nature and almost inedible. We chose the "all inclusive option" including drinks but only got to see what was been offered after we had paid the 30% deposit. All in all, this has been turned into an appalling hotel and is certainly not 3* any more.
