Basil Fawlty is alive and well - a wholehearted endorsment
We could not have descibed it better ourselves. We have had identical experience to Mr Sullivan. In twelve brief months La Chastillon had lost the shabby charm of a British Seaside resort B&B (but with the unfailing helpfulness of Mr Tong the Chinese concierge) and gained through the acquisition of the rudest hotel Manager we've ever met, a truly unpleasant atmosphere.Sadly we dislike him so much that when we stay elsewhere this winter we will not even bother go a'baiting although Mr Sullivan has our best wishes with him!!
