Stayed here as a stopover on the way back from the Mediterranean. The hotel was taken over by new owners at the beginning of the year and has had a makeover. Room was of good size with new furnishings. The dining room was smart, staff incredibly helpful and the food delicious. If you have children (or are a jogger!) the hotel is opposite a park. We would happily stay there again.

GOOD: very good food. polite helpful & multi-lingual staff. nice location. decent, competitive prices. BAD: water stains on ceiling, awkward window, stuffy bathroom, very worn carpets.
