A magnificent, "ski in, ski out" location and spacious rooms with huge panoramic views over the centre of Courchevel 1850.
A very friendly, accomodating staff for whom no request seems too much trouble. Family run.
Many guests have been returning for years and a high proportion are French who, clearly, are "in the know".
The Bateau Ivre sits on the 6th Floor and has 2 Michelin stars but is hugely expensive but probably worth a visit as a special treat.
The hotel's 3 star rating is a travesty as this very comfortable, spacious hotels enjoys a standard of service and luxury that would be hard to find in far more expensive hotels.
