Unforgettable stay.
The rooms were immaculately clean and quiet. Appointed with the basics but with style. Breakfast on the balcony with a view to the mountains, lunch and dinner were top-notch. Many fresh local offerings, such as lettuce, chard and strawberries picked the same day from the garden, and trout fished from lake a stone's throw away. Recipes tended to be of the region and all were truly delicious, as were local cheeses such as Tome de Savoie. The service and reception are very warm and without pretention. I highly recommend this hotel/restaurant for an extended stay.
