Top Local Tips for Calvi

General tips arrive early for the ferry, chill out and have a drink by the port, wait till everybody else gets on board then walk or drive on. Walk aroun the old town (Citadel) later in the evening when all the tourists have gone home. Don,t go to the theme-cabaret night as advertised...Its so so bad and the service was rubbish and the food worse still. Expect to pay a fair bit for food and drink in most places and finnaly brush up on your Frence, as most places and people will not speak any english. This makes it very difficult to order what you want, especially if you go with a fussy eater...
