Often coming to Chamonix I find hotel to come back to again and again. Bravo

What a jewel of a little hotel stumbled on by chance on our European tour.
Nothing too much trouble for the staff and fantastic food at great prices.
Well worth a detour.

I had a lovely stay with great food served by friendly staff

What a terrible place, room was absolutely freezing with a tiny radiator, "ensuite" is a plastic shell added to the hallway that was so cold there was no way you'd take even your shoes off in there! Security was non-existant-you are supposed to leave your key on a rack next to the unlocked backdoor that is accessible to anyone and not visible to reception (unless they can see through a solid wooden door). Breakfast was very mean and the rude manager put the room charge through on a credit card I had to use to reserve the room,when I said several times I had to pay cash. His reason: "he was too busy" and then refused to refund it. The worst place I have EVER stayed in, don't make my mistake!
