Fabulous hotel!

As we stayed here last 2 weeks prior to 911, that visit, along with our previous 6+ visits were all fabulous. Have always been treated great, on every stay, and like it even more since they renovated the pool and front of the hotel. The rooms are lovely but we hope by our next visit in late summer 2004 they were have renovated the rooms. Will always consider the Majestic our 'home' in Cannes.

Top Local Tips for Cannes

Restaurant districts Most people search for their dinner restaurant along the steep road leading into the old town from the bus station, and many of the best restaurants of Cannes (except for the famous gourmet temples at Majestic and Martinez) are indeed to be found there. But there is also a small restaurant district just behind Grand Hotel that should definitiely be considered - ask your hotel concierge to describe the way there.

Public transportation Use the excellent local public transportation - a much better deal than a hire car, especially when parking charges € 35 a day at the majestic - are considered.
