Would not achieve a single star in the UK

I have just returned from a 2 week holiday in Spain and France, and booked a double room at the above hotel through Hotelclub.net from 10 September to 12 September. This is described as a 3 star hotel. I can safely say that this would not achieve a single star in the UK. The building is tired, dirty, badly maintained and sub-standard. The lifts have been painted with gloss paint by hand, all the carpets are stained and lighting does not work in common areas. We were shown to our "double room" which had 2 bunk beds, a shower only (dirty, missing seals around tray, damp) and a sitting room/kitchen/bedroom with a 140cm fold down bed. The patio doors did not lock, the whole place was filthy and was damp, despite the outside temperature being 28 degrees C.
