I stay here regularly. The rooms, all with en suite, are comfortabe, spotless and quiet. The Rodier family are always welcoming and solicitous. The meals - plat-du-jour - are varied, with a strong regional association so expect to try the unusual. Prices are very reasonable by english standards (£8 a head weekdays, £15 for the Sunday Gastronomique)and as much plonk as you can drink. The area is practically unvisited except in July-August and is utterly beautiful. Peak season brings out parties of cyclists and walkers to make you feel unfit but never uncomfortable. Book early but book with absolute confidence!
